Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Scientist, Molecular
Design.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple pipeline programs through hit exploration and
hit-to-lead, setting strategies for progression into lead
optimization
Manage multiple direct reports leading efforts on pipeline
projects
Design small molecules using high-throughput computational tools
and collaborate with various teams to develop generative design
tools
Required Qualifications
BS/MS/Ph.D in computational, organic, or medicinal chemistry, or a
related field
7 or more years of experience as a computational or medicinal
chemist in industry
Publications and patents demonstrating design contributions
Experience with ligand-based and structure-based methods for small
molecule design
Familiarity with Python and RDKit
