Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Perform remote patient registration and manage demographic
updates
Verify insurance and resolve unbilled encounters
Participate in team huddles to report on process performance
outcomes
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu
of diploma/GED
0-2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare
Knowledge of billing and collections, medical insurance claims
procedures, and patient registration
Familiarity with insurance payer portals is a plus
Understanding of health insurance plans such as HMO, PPO, and
managed care
