Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter (Excess
Petroleum).
Key Responsibilities
Review and evaluate insurance applications to determine acceptance
or decline based on underwriting guidelines
Document underwriting files, including risk analysis and pricing
justification, and ensure compliance with regulations
Collaborate with producers and the underwriting team to achieve
production goals and finalize insurance applications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 5 years of underwriting or related insurance experience
required
Experience underwriting excess petroleum policies strongly
preferred
CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a
plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn
industry-specific software quickly
