dependable and motivated Cook to join our Food & Nutrition Services
team. This role is essential in preparing and delivering
high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of patients,
residents, and staff. The ideal candidate is reliable,
team-oriented, and committed to food safety in a fast-paced,
supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a
variety of hot and cold food items according to standardized
recipes and menus. Adhere to portion control guidelines and food
safety standards at all times. Ensure proper food handling,
storage, and sanitation procedures. Assist with meal plating,
service, and delivery when required. Work collaboratively with
dietary and clinical staff to meet specific nutrition plans.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area. Perform
opening and closing duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
Prior cooking experience preferred, especially in healthcare or
commercial kitchens. Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation,
and handling practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and
lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work flexible hours, including
early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong
communication skills and a collaborative attitude. Reliable
attendance and punctuality. Education: High School or equivalent
