Job Description Job Description BBSI is seeking a skilled, dependable, and mechanically inclined professional to support operations at an established automotive yard in Rancho Cucamonga. This is a long-term opportunity for someone with hands-on automotive and mechanical knowledge who enjoys working around vehicles, equipment, and tools in a professional, contract-driven environment. Full Time Schedule Shift Hrs: 8am-5pm M-F Pay Rate $21.00-25.00 DOE What You’ll Be Doing: Provide hands-on support to shop and yard personnel in daily operations Perform mechanical work and basic assembly on vehicles and equipment Load and unload trucks; assist with occasional pickup and delivery of tools, supplies, and materials Operate hand tools, shop equipment, and material-handling equipment as needed Support yard organization, cleanup, and workflow efficiency Follow work orders, safety protocols, and direction from supervisors Work within an insulated warehouse and outdoor yard environment, adapting to weather and climate changes What We’re Looking For: Strong mechanical and automotive knowledge (hands-on experience required) Experience working with vehicles, equipment, or fleet environments Knowledge of construction materials and job-site equipment is a plus Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently when needed Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques Safety-minded with attention to detail and accountability Requirements: Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean DMV record Forklift certification preferred (not required) Availability for overtime as needed Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term temp to hire employment BBSI provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
